6061 is one of the most versatile of the heat treatable alloys. It offers good formability, high resistance to corrosion and medium strength relative to 2000 or 7000 alloys. Applications include: Truck and Bus Bodies, Transmission Towers, Chemical Equipment, Paper and Textile rolls.
